Mary Health of the Sick
Located in Newbury Park, California, Mary Health of the Sick is a 24-hour skilled nursing facility. It is owned and operated by the Servants of Mary, Ministers to the Sick, a Catholic congregation of women religious who dedicate their lives to providing loving, compassionate nursing care to people of all faiths. The Sisters, who live on the premises of the hospital, founded and opened its doors on June 20, 1964. The hospital has served the needs of over 4,000 men and women of all faiths since its inception. The Sisters’ ministry is an extension of Christ’s mission of bringing hope to the suffering, healing to the sick, and comfort to the dying. Their sacred aspiration is to accompany the frail elderly and terminally ill, along with their families, on life’s final transition.
